Operations Director (Suzhou/Shanghai)

Core Responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end restaurant management, optimizing front-of-house service and back-of-house efficiency. Manage procurement, inventory control, and kitchen workflows while establishing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Leverage digital tools such as POS systems and membership platforms to enhance operational performance.
2. Utilize data analytics to identify operational gaps and develop targeted performance improvement plans. Monitor and control costs related to ingredients, labor, and utilities to ensure sustainable growth in brand profitability.
3. Design and implement regional and store-level organizational structures. Lead team training, motivation, and talent development initiatives to build a sustainable leadership pipeline and retain key personnel.
4. Integrate online and offline resources to support marketing campaigns consistent with the brand’s identity, including community management, local lifestyle platform promotions, and short video marketing. Effectively manage customer complaints, food safety incidents, and other critical situations to uphold brand reputation.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Product R&D, Marketing, and HR teams to drive product innovation, supply chain enhancements, and successful go-to-market execution.
Qualifications:
1. Associate degree or higher in Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Solid foundation in systematic business management principles.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in chain restaurant operations, with at least 3 years specializing in beef-centric, Chinese, or specialty snack segments. Demonstrated success in managing 10+ locations; experience in new store launch and turnaround of mature stores is highly valued.
3. Expertise in developing standardized operating systems and managing the full store lifecycle from site selection and launch to daily operations and closure.
4. Working knowledge of food safety, fire safety, and labor compliance regulations.
5. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
6. Willing to conduct regular store visits and travel frequently across regions (minimum 10 days per month).
